Twenty-two city establishments have been located in one pavilion with a total area of 2,000 sq. m. The huge food pavilion occupies the former building of the Arsenal factory. Kyiv Food Market was opened by Alex Cooper, the founder of Odesa City Food Market, and Mikhail Beilin, the owner of the La Famiglia restaurant chain.
In essence, Kyiv Food Market resembles a food court, but the food here is prepared not by standard bistros, but by professional chefs from various restaurants.

The Food Market managed to bring together more than twenty food spots under one roof. “We wanted the best Kyiv restaurants to open their bistros here. We selected them so that the cuisines would not overlap, and each establishment could showcase its best specialty,” says Alex Cooper. “For example, Napule makes pizza best, so it is represented here. Bigoli makes pasta, Beef makes steaks, and Catch serves only fish, without any soups or salads.”
Overall, the menu at each establishment here is small — about 6-8 items. In addition, according to the co-founder, they will cost guests less than at most restaurants.
