An author's rating has three parts: status, points and trust. They decide how visible a review is and how much its rating affects the venue's score.
What we checked: guest, account, identity, venue representative. Shown on every review.
All statusesHow much you've contributed: reviews, photos, edits, votes from other people.
How far your ratings can be trusted. Trust sets the weight of your rating in the venue's score.
What earns points
Only published reviews count. Points update within a few minutes of an event.
Levels
High levels need trust as well as points. With enough points but not enough trust you stay on the previous level, and your account shows what's missing.
- Newcomer from 0 points points only
- Regular from 50 points points only
- Local from 200 points points only
- Expert from 600 points plus trust of 55
- Legend from 1 500 points plus trust of 80 and 5 verified visits
Trust index
A number from 0 to 100 made of six parts. On reviews we show it as a word: low, medium, high, very high.
Confirmed account — 15, verified identity — 25.
How many helpful votes one review gets on average: 5 votes give the full 25.
4 per visit, up to 20.
Minus 7.5 for each review hidden by a moderator.
Half a point per month, up to 10.
Half a point per review, up to 5.
Rating weight in the venue score
A venue's score is the average of review ratings, each multiplied by its weight.
From ×0.5 at zero trust to ×1.5 at trust 100.

In total one review never weighs more than ×2. Example: trust 70, long text and photos — 1.2 × 1.3 × 1.35 = 2.1, so ×2 is used.
Topic titles
An “Expert in” title is given for a category where you have at least 5 published reviews with 20 helpful votes. Up to three titles are shown, one on each review.
Protection from manipulation
- Votes for your own review and votes from the author's device don't count.
- A venue representative can't vote on reviews of their venue.
- One person can give the same author at most one vote a week.
- Votes from accounts younger than 7 days don't count toward the top authors.
- A discount or gift for changing a rating leads to “Restricted” status.
Questions
Why isn't my level going up when I have enough points?
“Expert” needs trust of 55, “Legend” needs 80 and five verified visits. Your account's “My rating” tab shows what's missing.
Can points be bought or given by a venue?
No. Only actions on the site earn points, and a venue's votes on its own reviews don't count.
Can a venue see my email or votes?
No. A venue sees only your profile name, your level and the review text.
I was restricted by mistake. What can I do?
Write to [email protected] from the email linked to your account. A moderator will review the decision within three working days.
