1. What these terms cover

These terms set out the conditions for using MESTA (mesta.com.ua), a catalog of places in Ukrainian cities. By using the site you agree to these terms. Details of the site operator are on the Contacts page.

2. The catalog and data accuracy

We collect addresses, opening hours and contacts from open sources, visitors and venue owners, and check them regularly. Data can go out of date: until details are verified, the listing is marked “Details not yet verified”. Before a visit, confirm what matters — opening hours, prices, services — with the venue.

3. Accounts

You can submit a review, photo or new place without an account by confirming your email. An account keeps your history, points and author level. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for actions taken under your account.

4. Reviews, photos and other content

  • By publishing content you confirm it is based on your own experience and that you hold the rights to your photos.
  • You keep the rights to your content and grant MESTA a non-exclusive, free right to show it on the site, including in translation.
  • All content is moderated under the review rules. Content that breaks the rules is not published or is hidden.
  • You can remove your content through a removal request.

5. New places and data corrections

Visitors and owners can suggest new places and corrections. We publish them after editorial review and email you the decision.

6. Venue owners

A venue representative can verify ownership of a listing, reply to reviews and update details. Owners’ ratings of their own venue do not count towards the score. A review cannot be removed at the owner’s request unless it breaks the rules.

7. Advertising and independent ratings

Advertising and paid business services do not affect a venue’s score or the order of reviews. Partner content is labelled.

8. What is not allowed

  • manipulating ratings and reviews, including on behalf of staff or for a reward;
  • publishing other people’s personal data, insults, threats or discrimination;
  • posting advertising, spam or links to other sites in reviews;
  • impersonating another person or a venue representative;
  • scraping the site in volumes that disrupt it or bypassing technical limits.

For violations we may hide content and restrict an account; the reason is shown in your account.

9. Liability

The site is provided “as is”. We work to keep data accurate but are not liable for decisions made on its basis or for the actions of venues. Opinions in reviews belong to their authors.

10. Complaints and removal

If a publication violates your rights — personal data, copyright, false information — send a removal or correction request. We review requests within 10 working days.
