Academician Korolev Square is a small square in the centre of Tairovo, at the intersection of Levitan St and Korolev St. The square is popular with local residents, has been landscaped, and features children’s playgrounds. Plans include landscaping the square, installing a fountain and a monument to Sergei Korolev, one of the founders of practical astronautics. A three- to five-storey building is planned on the site of the former cinema. It is intended to house a children’s sports and entertainment centre.
