A monument to the poet, playwright and prose writer Alexander Pushkin, erected in 1962, stands right by the park entrance. The monument was created by sculptor Alexander Kovalev and architect Vasily Gnezdilov. Its distinctive feature is that it was the first monument in Kyiv depicting a seated figure. Before then, all prominent figures in the city had been depicted only standing.

Ходимо сюди регулярно, і рівень тримають. Читав на лавці — усе пройшло без затримок і зайвих питань. Персонал ввічливий і відповідає по суті, без «це не до нас». Оцінку ставлю високу заслужено.
