The park received the name “Vidradnyi” from the name of the surrounding area. During the Soviet era, however, it was called “Hrushky”, because in the mid-1960s there was a fruit orchard here where pears, apple trees and plums grew. The “Tampere” cinema was built opposite the main park avenue. One of the tributaries of the Lybid River, the Vidradnyi stream, which flows from the park pond, begins in Vidradnyi Park. In the 2000s, the Ukrainian ethnographic museum “Mamaieva Sloboda” was founded on the park grounds.

Очікував трохи більшого, якщо чесно. Обладнання не найновіше, але робоче. З паркуванням складно в години пік. Все зробили, просто без ентузіазму. Не відмовляю, але й не раджу активно.
