At present, the population of the Mini-Kyiv park is 700 residents and continues to grow. The building models require constant care (due to the lack of a canopy) and are continually restored. The park opened on June 23, 2006. The idea of creating a unique park emerged back in 2000. It took 4 years to build “Kyiv in Miniature.” Over time, the exhibition was supplemented with buildings from across Ukraine — the Odesa Opera House, the Swallow’s Nest, the Alupka Vorontsov Palace and the Bukovel ski resort, and in 2013 the complex was renamed the “Ukraine in Miniature” museum.
