PrivatBank proves that a state-owned company can and should be profitable and efficient. PrivatBank’s net profit in 2020 was 24.3 billion UAH. This amounted to 61.2% of the annual profit of all Ukrainian banks. Overall, after nationalisation, the bank paid 55.4 billion UAH in dividends to the state budget.
