PrivatBank proves that a state-owned company can and should be profitable and efficient. PrivatBank’s net profit in 2020 was 24,3 billion UAH. This accounted for 61,2% of the annual profit of all Ukrainian banks. Overall, after nationalisation, the bank paid 55,4 billion UAH in dividends to the state budget.

PrivatBank clients find payment cards convenient to use; however, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we enabled completely contactless banking through virtual cards that can be issued instantly via the Privat24 smartphone app.
