PrivatBank proves that a state-owned company can and should be profitable and efficient. PrivatBank’s net profit in 2020 was UAH 24.3 billion. This accounted for 61.2% of the annual profit of all Ukrainian banks. Overall, after nationalisation, the bank paid UAH 55.4 billion in dividends to the state budget.

PrivatBank customers find payment cards convenient to use; however, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we enabled completely contactless banking with virtual cards that can be issued instantly through the Privat24 app on a smartphone.
