More than 20 million people have used PrivatBank’s services at least once in their lives – half of all users of banking services in Ukraine, from private individuals to companies and entrepreneurs. Almost 18 million Ukrainians use PrivatBank’s services regularly, while the number of clients of the digital bank Privat24 is currently 13.5 million.

PrivatBank proves that a state-owned company can and should be profitable and effective. PrivatBank’s net profit in 2020 was UAH 24.3 billion. This accounted for 61.2% of the annual profit of all Ukrainian banks. Overall, after nationalisation, the bank paid UAH 55.4 billion in dividends to the state budget.

PrivatBank clients find it convenient to use payment cards; however, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we enabled fully contactless banking through virtual cards that can be issued instantly via the Privat24 app on a smartphone.
