The idea of opening a Middle Eastern cuisine café came to the owners while travelling around Israel, so Altruist focuses primarily on Israeli cuisine: hummus, falafel, pitas with various fillings and challah. Lebanese, Turkish and other Middle Eastern dishes are also available.
As the owners say, Altruist is a place about delicious food and kindness. Kindness, because every guest is treated with genuine care here, and part of the proceeds is donated to charity.

The menu focuses on shared starters: hummus, baba ganoush and pitas with various fillings. Toppings can be ordered with the hummus: spicy paste, stewed chickpeas with paprika, eggplant spread or bell pepper. Among the unusual and interesting options are whole roasted vegetables: a fiery eggplant and cauliflower baked in the oven and served with tahini.

Були в неділю вдень. Брали каву з собою вранці — черга рухалася швидко. Шукати тут: вулиця Антоновича. Раджу.
Заходили вранці: брали каву й десерт, торт свіжий, не з холодильника тижневої давнини. Столиків мало, в обід не сісти. Як варіант поруч — згодиться.
Місце середнє: є плюси, є до чого причепитись. Музика голосніша, ніж потрібно для розмови. Замовляли Салат, чекали довше, ніж хотілося б. Сподіваюсь, підтягнуть сервіс.
Радили друзі, і на початку літа перевірили самі. Персонал уважний, воду доливали без нагадувань. Офіціант підказав, що взяти, і не помилився з рекомендацією. Зал чистий, столи витирають одразу, посуд без слідів. Тримайте рівень.

Один із тих закладів, куди хочеться повертатися. Персонал уважний, воду доливали без нагадувань. У чеку — Піца і кава, вклалися без здивувань. За такі гроші претензій немає жодних.
