Barmen Dyktat Bar in Kyiv

Barmen Dyktat is run by Kyrylo Kysliakov, formerly a photographer, also known as Black Santa. The bar occupies the site of the well-known 44 art club: now there is a very long counter, alcohol reaching the ceiling and a new story of the venue being created before our eyes. The name comes from the fact that the bartender will tell you what you will drink. If you have enough inner resolve to object, you are as much a dictator as he is. You will reach an agreement. But if you came simply to show off… then endure it.

BARMEN DYKTAT BAR MENU

The bar serves snacks. Our chef, Heizer, is in charge of them, and he is unpredictable. The venue offers a full menu at fairly democratic prices. Cold and hot appetizers, meat, fish and seafood dishes, side dishes and desserts are available.

На вихідних: сиділи компанією, місця вистачило, ніхто не виганяв. Вайфай є, пароль дають без питань. Від метро Театральна хвилин 3 пішки. Один раз можна.

Зайшли в суботу ввечері. Брали коктейлі — зробили міцно й акуратно. Кухня американська, як і заявлено. Нормально, але нічого особливого.

Були в години пік, і це вплинуло на враження. Порції нормальні, але за ці гроші очікуєш більше. Зал чистий, а от туалет міг би бути охайнішим. Замовляли Дитяча порція, чекали довше, ніж хотілося б. Може, просто день невдалий був.

Один із тих закладів, куди хочеться повертатися. Зал чистий, столи витирають одразу, посуд без слідів. На терасі тихіше, ніж усередині, і вигляд нормальний. Вечірнє світло приємне, посидіти можна довго. Повернемось точно.
